Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you. We’ve created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all the important details with you in the lead-up to our wedding.

You can also read more about our love story, check out our wedding playlist and most importantly RSVP (due 21st March, 2025).

Finally – thank you for your ongoing love and support. We are so excited to share this day with you and look forward to dancing the night away with all our favourite people!
All Because Two People Swiped Right!

This Is Us
We first made contact on May the fourth [insert Yoda chuckle], 2020. While online dating has many drawbacks, there was an instant connection between us. While we could not meet in person due to COVID restrictions, we used that time to form our connection; through weekly Facetime calls we took a deep dive into each other’s lives, beliefs, experiences, and bonded through games. Per the restrictions, we had nowhere to be the next day, often leading to calls lasting a second nine (pm) to five (am).

We finally came together in June on the Queen’s birthday long weekend, for our first in-person date. One date led to two, and repeat lockdowns led to looking forward to one event each week: spending our weekends together. These weekends would serve as the foundation for our swiftly developing love.

Two months from first contact we spent our first holiday together down at the family beach house in Venus Bay. It was on this holiday that we made our relationship official.

Just over nine months from first contact, and we moved into our own place together. For nearly three years we lived together in Mentone, forming memories, traditions, and a bond stronger than ever. During this time, we welcomed the cutest, cuddliest, and covetous little pupper to our union. With Toby by our side… well actually, in the middle, always in the middle… it was the formation of our family.

In September 2023, down at the beach house yet again. It was during this stay that Sam proposed, privately on the shore of Beach 4. Ring in hand, tears in eyes, love in our hearts, Toby begging for a swim, and dog poo in the other hand. The only inaccuracy of the last line was the part about the ring…

With ardour, we hope you can share in our love, always and forever.

We're currently exploring options for shuttle services for your convenience from Melbourne CBD, Eastern Suburbs and Yarra Valley. More information about transportation arrangements will be shared closer to the wedding date, so please stay tuned for updates on our website. -
What should I wear? The dress code for our wedding is Cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. As the Wedding is in early May we suggest bringing a light-warm jacket to wear to and from the wedding.
-
What will the weather be like?Whilst we cannot predict Melbourne weather, as our Wedding will be held in early May it will likely be on the cooler side. We suggest bringing a warm jacket to arrive and go home. The wedding and reception will be held inside in a heated space, however, you may step outside during cocktail hour or at any other time of the night. As such we will be providing a small number of blankets to keep you warm if needed.
-
Will there be a gift table?Your presence on our special day is the greatest present of all! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution to our wishing well would be warmly appreciated. We will have a wishing well at our reception for you to place your card.
-
Can I bring my kids? While we adore children, we've opted for an adult event to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. Only the children of our international travelling guests will be in attendance. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening if required. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.
-
Can I bring a plus one?Unfortunately, we have a limited space and numbers so we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and will be noted on your physical invitation. We ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!
